Candy Cache

The great thing about Halloween candy isn’t really getting it on Halloween or the abundance of it next to every photocopier and office receptionist around the holiday. Truly, the beauty of Halloween candy lies in the stockpiling of it as soon as the 31st passes and everything is 50% off. You can justly buy four bags of candy instead of two, six instead of three—you can buy enough candy to stay knee-deep in individually-wrapped, portion-controlled bliss for months! (With proper rationing, of course. This isn’t for gorgers.) And why shouldn’t you? What do you have to look forward to—Easter? Pshaw!¹ The very idea…

So ‘pile! And pick your hiding spots carefully, lest an overzealous Friday night lead to premature feasting. (You know what I’m talking about.)

1: In this blogger’s humble opinion, Halloween candy is lightyears ahead of Easter candy.
